Control System

Oval VIETNAM JVC, Ltd. provides a complete Control System with:
- Control Panel
- Proving Computer
- Supervisory Computer
- HMI Control Software
- Printers
The central computer will compile all data from flow computers dedicated to the respective meter runs, generate data logging and alarms, interfacing with metering printers, operator stations
and report printers, and fully integrates data requirements from flow computer to DCS to carry out all necessary control functions such as:
- Valve line ups
- Batch control, and
- Supervisory report generation
Metering & Proving Computer System Upgrading Project
Oval Asia Pacific Pte Ltd supplied 33 sets of Omni 6000 for 65 metering streams integrated to DCS for metering control and proving system for entire oil movement facility. The system provided full integration of data requirements from OMNI flow computer to DCS to carry out all control functions:
- valve line ups
- Batch control via Omni flow computer
- Data-logging
- Supervisory report generation (including active alarms for temperature, flow, pulse failures, common alarms and downloaded density )
The entire project from design, assembly, installation, termination to programming was done by OAP, and completed in Nov 2004
